I’m Simon Burchett, an Aerial Photographer with an Archive spanning almost 30 years. 

 

Much of my work has been photographed from fixed wing aircraft using hi-resolution camera systems, documenting towns, coastlines, infrastructure, construction, railways, ports and landscapes from the air.

 

Over time, that work has become something more than a commercial Archive. Places I've photographed simply because they were interesting twenty or thirty years ago have changed beyond recognition, disappeared completely, or acquired stories of their own.

 

Today, my photography brings together that historic Archive with new Aerial work, creating a visual record of places, landscapes and change.
